Abu Dhabi-UAE: 08 September, 2015 – Bloom Hospitality, a Bloom Holding subsidiary with a fast-growing portfolio of hotels, has announced the development of a five-star hotel project within the Abu Dhabi Marina mixed-use cluster at Cityscape Global 2015, currently underway at Dubai World Trade Centre.
Set to open in the third quarter of 2016, the 200-key and 57 serviced apartment hospitality project will be operated under the EDITION hotel brand - the latest boutique hotel venture by renowned American hotelier and real estate developer Ian Schrager in partnership with Marriott International. With the highest hotel rating among Marriot Group hotels, Edition currently has four hotels globally located in Istanbul, London, Miami Beach and New York City. When opened, The Abu Dhabi Marina Edition will be the first EDITION hotel to open in the Middle East.
The project is part of Abu Dhabi Marina mixed-use development, a landmark project located in the Marina Al Bateen area offering upscale residences, executive serviced apartments, health clubs, hotel, cafes and restaurants.

Surrounded by the spectacular views of the Arabian Gulf in the heart of the city, the Abu Dhabi Marina project will also feature 57 executive apartments, as well as two residential buildings comprising 225 apartments ranging from one to four bedrooms. Built on a plot area of 41,797 square meters with a total BUA of 150,000 sqm, the project will host 3,000 square meters of premium waterfront retail attractions, in addition to 890 parking spaces.
The construction of the premium waterfront development is now 70% complete, and the project handover is set for Q3 of 2016. Abu Dhabi’s Estidama Pearl Building Rating System has already awarded the project a 2 Pearl Rating status.
